Welcome Aboard The Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority (MVRTA), your public transportation service. The MVRTA serves the northeast corner of Massachusetts with over 1 million miles of city, suburban, interurban, and rural scheduled bus routes.

ROUTE 33 - Outbound detours off of Main Street to May Street, Hodges, Sargent, Wavely back to Main Street following regular routing.  Inbound regular routing. 4/27

ROUTE 01 - 
Outbound/Inbound detours at the Loop out to Pleasant Valley right into Methuen Plaza - service Walmart resume regular routing. 4/27

ROUTE 37 -
Inbound detours off of Bowdoin @ Clifton to Andover Street and resumes regular routing. 4/27

ROUTE 40 -
Outbound (Hampshire St. is closed) back through Methuen Square left Broadway to Village Mall. Inbound regular routing. 4/27

MassAir Online

Town of Newbury/Byfield MVRTA Ring and Ride operation schedule is as followed:

·         Weekdays: 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

·         Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The new schedule will follow the schedule of the surrounding communities of Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland and West Newbury.

Starting on Sunday January 15, 2017, there will be a new routing for the Route 41 on the Outbound and Inbound in Lowell: Click here for the new routing

Starting on Monday Jaunary 16, 2017 the Route 54 will be servicing the Senior Center/ Community Center from High Street.
