Boston Commuter Service

The MVRTA Boston Commuter Bus

Allowing you the freedom to relax and eliminate the hassle of dealing with traffic to and from Boston.  There will be five inbound trips in the morning and six outbound in the evening.  

MVRTA gives you a virtually one stop ride, with our clean, friendly yet quiet commute allows our drivers do all the work, while you sit back, relax, read a book or even take a nap in one of four inbound trips in the morning and five outbound trips in the evening. 

Plase note that effective March 5, 2018 B3 and B7 have been canceled.

All Boston Commuter Buses: 

  All our buses are accessible to persons with disabilities

Attention: The afternoon Boston Commuter buses will pick up on State Street at the intersection of Congress Street.  The bus will no longer pick up at 100 Cambridge Street in front of Burger King.

Please note that the MVRTA Boston Commuter buses operate Monday through Friday.  

There is no Saturday or Sunday Boston Commuter service.

MVRTA does not operate on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
