Ring and Ride Brochure
Ring & Ride is a curb-to-curb transportation service for the residents of Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Newbury/Byfield and West Newbury. This service allows the residents of Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Newbury/Byfield and West Newbury to commute anywhere within those towns as well as anywhere in Amesbury, Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, as well as to the Rowley Train Station and Market Basket in Rowley. The service will also allow you to connect to the MVRTA fixed route bus system.
Route 51 Ring and Ride is an advance phone request origin-to-destination service along the scheduled routing. This shared ride service is for residents of the James Steam Mill located at 1 Charles St., and Heritage House located at 32 Low St., as well as Plum Island residents who live along the original Route 51 bus route. You must call at least 24 hours in advance to request the service and be able to meet the MVRTA vehicle along the route at the location you have predetermined with the MVRTA Office of Special Services.

Maris Center R&R
The Maris Center Ring & Ride is a curb-to-curb service for residents of the Maris Center. The service will bring residents to the following locations: Dunkin Donuts in Newburyport located at 70 Story Ave; Port Plaza's Market Basket located at 25 Story Ave; and Stop and Shop Amesbury, located at 100 Macy St. All rides need to have an origin or destination stop of 197 Elm St in one leg of the trip. The cost of the trip is $2.00 per one way trip. The service will allow you to connect to the MVRTA fixed route bus system.
