BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Duties of this position include but are not limited to sweeping, cleaning, fueling and vaulting vehicles as they return to their on road service.

This is a union position.

Qualified applicants must be available for shifts that start at 4:30 pm and are completed at 1:00 am Monday through Friday. Applicants must have a clean driving record, Drug/Alcohol testing is a condition of employment.

Full-time bus operators.

Qualified applicants must possess a valid CDL class B drivers license and the ability to obtain passenger and air brake endorsements and DTE certification. Applicants must have a clean driving record, and thorough knowledge of the Merrimack Valley Area.

PART TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

THERE ARE NO OPENINGS FOR THIS POSITION AT THIS TIME

The Merrimack Valley Area Transportation Company (MVATC) has an opening for a part-time Customer Service Representative. The person in this position, is responsible for providing bus information to passengers, selling passes and tickets, and processing utility payments. The hours available are weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and alternate Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualified applicants should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to process transactions accurately. Bi-lingual skills a plus.

THERE ARE NO OPENINGS FOR THIS POSITION AT THIS TIME

Full-time bus mechanic.

Qualified applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid class B CDL license or permit.

To qualify you will need at least 1 year of experience in heavy duty truck, bus, and van repairs, preventative maintenance skills and the ability to diagnose and repair transit bus equipment and a clean driving record. Upon hiring, mechanic must provide their own tools.

The position is on our third shift.

FULL TIME RESERVATIONIST

THERE ARE NO OPENINGS FOR THIS POSITION AT THIS TIME

The Merrimack Valley Area Transportation Company has a full-time opening for a reservation agent to assist with the scheduling of transportation needs for clients in the Merrimack Valley area using an automated reservation and scheduling system. This position requires experience in customer service, excellent communication and organizations skills, familiarity with Excel and MS Office, and a general knowledge of the Merrimack Valley Area. Drug/Alcohol testing is a condition of employment

Qualified applicants should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and customer service skills. Bi-lingual skills a plus.
