As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance mobility and convenience for the Merrimack Valley area residents, we are pleased to announce the upcoming opening of our new bus hub at a better, more accessible location. McGovern will serve as a central point making it easier than ever to get around.

#1-Lawrence-Haverhill via the Loop: Direct service via downtown Lawrence and Jackson Street to Target/Walmart/the Loop, with service continuing to Haverhill. New routing eliminates backtracking on Pleasant Valley Street, providing faster service from Lawrence to the Loop and to Haverhill. Swan/East/Merrimack Streets will now be served by #4. Connection at Downtown miniHub. Uses Casey Bridge to reach McGovern.

#2-Andover via South Broadway: Downtown Andover routing streamlines confusing and dangerous “figure eight” via Railroad Street. Andover Station served by #21 or short walk to North Main Street. Direct to McGovern via Merrimack Street – no bridge crossing.

#3-North Andover: Now serves Woodridge Housing, providing direct access to the YMCA, NAPS Central Offices, and Downtown North Andover. Interlined with the #9 allowing for direct service to downtown Lawrence.

#4-Walmart – Methuen Plaza and Prospect Hill via Howard Street: Direct to McGovern via double decker. Swan/East/Merrimack Streets will be served by this new routing with service continuing to the Loop. LGH will now be served by the #6.

#5-Water Street: Direct through downtown Lawrence and MinHub via Essex Street, travels the length of Essex Street, and utilizes the Duck Bridge to McGovern.

#6-Holy Family Hospital via Hampshire & LGH: Reoriented as “healthcare route,” connecting Holy Family, GLFHC, LGH, & Marston Medical with Arlington Neighborhood, Rita Hall, Elm Towers, 65 Union, Valebrook Apartment, Point After Clubhouse, & Merrimack Street social services. Direct to McGovern via double decker.

#7-Beacon Street: Same routing, utilizing Broadway Bridge to miniHub via Essex/Common. Interlines with #9.
