Improved routing and schedule
Route 19 – Newburyport CR/Amesbury: Improved outbound and inbound routing that will serve Anna Jaques Hospital from the main entrance, no wait time to transfer to route 17 @ Nicholas J. Costello Transportation Center and time points are modified accordingly.
Route 20 – Newburyport CR/Salisbury Beach: Routing remains the same and time points are modified.
As of Monday, February 26, 2024, route 27 will be serving Plaza 114 from Durso Ave. on both the Outbound and Inbound.
Outbound from Winthrop Ave: Continue straight, right onto Durso Ave. to regular routing.
Inbound from Durso Ave: left onto Winthrop Ave. to regular routing.
Bus may be flagged along route except in no-stop zones.
NO STOP ZONES
- On Essex St from Probation Office (499 Essex St) until Broadway St. (Rte. 28)
- Water St to Merrimack St (Falls Bridge) Flag Policy continues at Halloween Store OB & IB
- Gilbert St to William St OB
- Near Railroad tracks (must clear track and Canal St)
- Main St and Kenilworth St to South St IB
SNOW DETOUR:
Inbound: From Main Street (Massachusetts Route 28), utilize Main Street (Massachusetts Route 28) over the Bridge to North Main Street bypassing Railroad Street and to resume REGULAR ROUTING.
